Born in a small town in the north of Italy, since young age Matteo (he/him) felt the urge to widen his experiences.
After studying Philosophy in Padua and a degree in Directing and Cinematography at the PFS in Prague, he lived and worked in different environments that spanned from Miami to Shenzhen, always challenging his point of view.Due to his strong bond with film stocks and ’90s subculture, his works are often filled with analog-resembling elements, which could emerge as oversized scenography, creative light distortions, or the use of low-fi equipment; whatever it takes to recreate the specific aesthetic that he is aiming to achieve through his lens.
He has shot commercial video campaigns for brands such as: Nike, Furla, Colmar, Ferragamo, Sergio Rossi, Trussardi, K-Way, Diesel, Dickies Air France, Filorga, Maybelline, Kiko, Frette, and many more.
